Pregnant Hailey Bieber is expecting her first child with Justin Bieber
There will soon be another person Hailey and Justin Bieber can love.
May 9 saw the announcement on Instagram that the Grammy winner and the creator of Rhode Skin are expecting their first child together.
On a grassy slope, the pair posed for maternity pictures, with Hailey wearing a lace garment that highlighted her baby bulge and Justin kissing her. Just two months after getting engaged, in September 2018, the pair wed in a New York City courthouse, and Hailey is now expecting their first child.
One year later, at an opulent wedding ceremony in South Carolina, the couple said “I do” a second time to commemorate their relationship. Ever since, Hailey, 27, and Justin, 30, have been forthright about their intentions to become parents.
The “Love Yourself” singer hinted at his ambition to have children of his own in October 2019 when he shared a video of a father playing with his child on Instagram and said, “This is something I look forward to.”

Later, in a February 2020 interview with Zane Lowe, Justin declared that he and Hailey will begin a family “in due time,” outlining his desire to “enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, and build more of our relationship” before making any further decisions.
During his December talk show appearance, Justin joked with Ellen DeGeneres about the “hold-up” on the couple’s baby plans. “I believe the issue—it’s not really an issue—is that Hailey still has goals she wants to achieve as a woman, and I believe she’s not ready yet, and that’s okay,” he said.
As for how many children he wants, Justin said, “I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out.” He said, “It’s her body and whatever she wants to do, but yeah, I’d love to have myself a little tribe.”
The two continued to share snippets of their family conversations in the “Justin Bieber: Our World” Amazon Prime video. “I want to keep setting goals and have fun doing them,” Justin told Hailey in an open discussion. Be sure to give priority to my family. “And maybe we squeeze out a tiny nugget.”
Startled Hailey said, “In 2021?!” Justin answered, “The end of 2021? Let’s try. For her part, Hailey has always wanted to be a mother. The model disclosed on a November 2021 episode of the “In Good Faith with Chelsea & Judah Smith” podcast that she and Justin, who originally ignited romance rumors way back in 2014, began discussing having children early in their relationship.
“During our pillow chat sessions, he told me my main life goal is to have a healthy family.” “I just don’t think it’s BS since he doesn’t have to say that” she said. “We used to talk a lot about our aspirations and where we wanted to go at a particular age.” We had always hoped to get married early, have a family, and have children soon.”
Hailey discussed her own plans to become a mother with fellow model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a video that she posted on her YouTube account in December 2021. I do want children one day, she said, “but I clearly know zero about being a mom.”
