Because of the fallout between Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos, who is to blame?

Who's to blame for the Russell Wilson-Denver Broncos fallout?

“Who’s at fault in the Russell Wilson debacle in Denver?” On the episode of “Speak” that aired on Monday, Emmanuel Acho posed this question to his co-hosts, James Jones, LeSean McCoy, and Joy Taylor.

After a difficult two years in Denver, during which he had just 11 wins out of 30 starts, the Broncos made the announcement on Monday that they are releasing the quarterback, who is 35 years old. It has been claimed that the Broncos will still owe Wilson $39 million for the upcoming season, despite the fact that he is only two years into his five-year agreement worth $242 million.

It was Jones who stated, “I think everybody gets a little piece of the pie,” in reference to the parties that were wrong. This is where it all begins with Russell Wilson. Should he have been able to provide a couple of further victories, we would not even be in this predicament. Despite the fact that he is a good player, Sean Payton does not like you.

“It’s something that Russell Wilson has shown them—that he’s not the guy,” said Jones further. “Russell could have eliminated all of this if he had gone out there—year one without Sean Payton under [Nathaniel] Hackett or year two under Sean Payton with a couple more wins—all this would have been bushed under the rug.”

“I never thought he was just good enough to just win things by himself,” McCoy said further. “When you’re asking this guy to come save your franchise, there’s only about two [or] three dudes that can do that in this league: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson.”

“Another thing that I hold the Broncos responsible for… Did you inquire with the quarterback that you paid all of this money to about the coach that you wanted to bring on board as a member of the coaching staff? Everything that you guys provided to Russ… You guys brought in a coach to coach him, and he took everything away from him.

After making the announcement that they will release Russell Wilson, the Denver Broncos will still be required to pay him for the upcoming season. Therefore, who is to blame?

Taylor, on the other hand, is of the opinion that both the administration of the Broncos and Wilson are equally responsible.

“Ego,” Taylor stated in a direct manner. “Everybody’s ego.”

Russell Wilson desired to leave the city of Seattle. In addition, she stated, “He made it abundantly clear that he did not wish to be there.” He was rumored to have attempted to get people who were working in the building dismissed, according to the rumors. First and foremost, there is the ego.

“Now, the Broncos are making an effort to go and get Russell Wilson, and they are giving up a lot.” Egotistically, they believe that it is worth it to do that. And then proceed to engage in some additional unethical business practices by increasing the price of the agreement when they were not required to do so either.
