The latest chapter in the Pokémon Legends series, Z-A, transports players to Kalos

On February 27, the Pokémon series is born, and The Pokémon Company regularly makes announcements about future games and events on that day. The same thing happened on Tuesday, with a Pokémon Presents starting at nine in the morning.

At the beginning of today’s Pokémon Presents, there was a trail of unknown creatures chasing after a Pikachu. This led some viewers to assume that a Let’s Go Johto game would be shown at the end of the presentation. I must admit, I’m one of those viewers. Johto enthusiasts, calm down. Today’s announcement didn’t include a Let’s Go game. That being said, it doesn’t imply that no good news was announced!

More tera raid events for Scarlet and Violet were announced at the beginning of the presentation, which was quite predictable. There will be three fully evolved versions of the starters from generation one that you can catch in the game. Similar to the previous Charizard event, the three fully evolved Pokémon will share the “mightiest mark.” Though you’re limited to just one of each, you’ll be able to reap the benefits of the raids as long as the event lasts. What follows is the schedule for the raids:

• Starting on February 28, 2024, at 7 p.m. EST, A Mighty Venusaur will run until March 5, 2024, at 6:59 p.m.
• It starts on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. EST and runs until Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 6:59 p.m. EST. It’s a Mighty Blastoise.
• Beginning on March 13, 2024, at 7 p.m. EST and ending on March 17, 2024, at 6:59 p.m., A Mighty Charizard will be available online.

Even though you can’t catch another powerful Charizard during this event, you can still lend a hand to friends and new players who are taking on the raids for the first time!

Returning to Kalos with Pokémon

However, one set of desires was granted: the desire for a new Pokémon Legends game. Towards the end of Pokémon Presents, developers revealed Pokémon Legends Z-A, which featured a rough outline of Lumiose City that appeared to be fully functional and engaging. In the offered promotional film, Pokémon swam through the sea, soared through the sky, and dashed through the streets.
